Reviews play a big share in any television Sharp LC40LE830U purchase and since I relied heavily on them, it solely made sense for me to furnish a good review that could helper others. Overall, once this TV is setup aright and completely calibration and adjustments are made, it is by far one of the best TVs out there in terms of pic quality, clarify and accuracy. The away of box laying is acceptable simply will feel similar you are at a big2 box electronics store. There are a few calibration settings away in diverse forums thus merely search for them, attempt them completely and take your pick. There is some clouding especially when displaying blacks simply cypher that will support out during a normal movie. It is not distracting adequate to have your care go from any movie. Overall blacks are great. TV is loaded with features and options starting from full calibration settings to internet apps galore. One large con is that the navigation menu/software is far from superior. In fact, it could be downright horrible at times. You will make applied to it only it could be better. Internet WI-FI built in is groovy only getting a good signaling is not the best. I stopped up applying a wired connection with a wireless repeater. The TV tuner is borderline. It takes a few seconds to switch between channels regardless of advancing channels or punching in the canal numbers. Like other reviewers said, do not enumeration of advancing channels, merely punch in the genuine canal you are look for. Finally, this Extended TV is the best value out there. For the price, you cannot exit wrong. It is clearly nigh $200 cheaper than the competition and Sharp makes their ain LCD panels. Here are a few calibrations from diverse sources.
